SA Food Gardens is in line with the United National Development Goals.
Goal 1
End poverty in all its forms everywhere. The beneficiaries can sell their surplus produce and earn an income.

Zero Hunger. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture. We can do that through our food gardens initiative.
Goal 3
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Vegetables are a nutritious alternative to food that fuels communicable diseases.

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. Climate Smart Agriculture, reduce greenhouse gas emission and carbon sequestration
