Dr Sam Motsuenyane Rural Development Foundation
The Dr Sam Motsuenyane Rural Development Foundation (RDF) was founded by the legendary business extraordinaire who co-founded NAFCOC and African Bank among many other things he was the first black person to study Agronomy in the USA. The foundation was The Foundation was created and designed to address the needs and challenges which presently impede the development of township and rural communities in South Africa, more especially in the agricultural sector. The foundation works with farmers in Gauteng, Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga. It’s primary goal is to ensure the productive use of land that is lying fallow particularly in the former homelands.
United Kingship Royal Holdings Foundation
The Royal Kingship Foundation is wholly owned by United royal kingship Holdings which represents traditional leaders nationally. There are over 17 million people on tribal land. The foundation in conjunction with The House of Traditional Leaders will implement food security programmes in rural communities and COVI-19 relief interventions.
Agricultural Development Agency (AGDA)
AGDA is a nonprofit initiative championed by In Transformation Initiative director Roelf Meyer, AGDA forms part of the Public-Private Growth Initiative (PPGI) within the Presidency. AGDA will use the donation to implement a broader food security programme with its members and associates.
Nkosi's Haven
Nkosi’s Haven is a recognized NGO in South Africa that has been in operation since 1999 offering holistic care and support for destitute HIV/AIDS infected mothers, her children, and resulting AIDS orphans. Nkosi’s Haven is named after Nkosi Johnson. They operate their own farm that feeds the centre.
Mineworkers Development Agency
The mission of the Mineworkers Development Agency is to create brighter futures and it measures progress by the number of new livelihoods it creates in areas of endemic poverty. MDA projects build self-reliance and assure food security. MDA runs projects in South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho.
